Congratulations to Allison and Brian!!! They were married at the Bald Head Island Chapel, and had their reception at the Harbor Pavillion on the island.

Bald Head is such a great place for a wedding! Every wedding I have shot on the island has been elegant and so well organized by Martha Haward and the other local coordinators (there are quite a few!). Seems every detail, down to the tiniest flower, is always in place and absolutely perfect. The weather was gorgeous, the flowers were perfect, everything was just wonderful.

During the ceremony, Brian wiped a tear from Allison’s face as she sobbed her way through the vows. I am lucky enough to witness many weddings, but only a very few have so much emotion during the ceremony… and it was just too touching to watch Brian beam down at his new wife. They were so sweet. I’m pretty sure I even caught Brian shedding a tear or two!

Special thanks to my great friend Bruce Rubenstein, who drove all the way down from Brooklyn NY to photograph this wedding with me! We had a blast, and Bruce got to see some southern scenery and eat a po’ boy. Good times!
