fame!
My photography friends keep telling me that I don’t blow my own horn often enough. It’s a lot for me to dedicate a whole page of my blog to ME, I just don’t find myself all that interesting, and can’t imagine anyone else would, either.
So I posted about the article that was written about me in Professional Photographer Magazine earlier this year… but the post got buried pretty quickly under all my newer blog entries, and I couldn’t figure out a way to un-bury it without looking desperate for attention!
Uncle. I really should be proud of this! I mean, Professional Photographer Magazine chose *ME* to write about! Crazy, you know? And awesome. How often does something like this happen in one’s career?
After the article appeared in March of 2007, I was invited to speak at a photo conference in St. Cloud, MN. It was an experience – exhilarating and nerve-racking. It was a tremendous honor to be asked, and I’ll always remember that terrifying day in Minnesota!
