Remember Sydney and Darin from their engagement session? They got married on May… well, actually, they got married in April at the Temple in Washington, DC. I didn’t get to go to the wedding
, but I was lucky enough to be there for the reception the following month! It was held at Cedar Plantation in Acworth Georgia (they said it was outside of Atlanta, but I think they meant it was outside of Tennessee… it’s way out there!)
This family has become so special to me. I shot Becca and Wyatt’s engagement and wedding last year (in downtown Wilmington, and on Bald Head Island), and they were definitely one of my favorite couples ever… and then along comes Sydney and Darin, engaged and needing pictures! It was so perfect working with the same family (and less than a year apart, their poor dad!!!).
This is a family that truly appreciates photography, truly believes in enjoying life and family, and doesn’t mind being a little wacky. OH, and as always, everyone had really cool hair.
